Totnes four-piece Pavlova play original guitar-based tunes with hints of Throwing Muses, X-Ray Spex , Kate Bush, the Raincoats, and with the odd nod to prog, they bring a lofi buzz-saw edge to the Totnes music scene. With song-writer Lee Friese-Greene on guitar and vocals, Misuzu Matsumoto on drums and harp, Sarah Kiaer on bass guitar, and John Caley on keyboards and fiddle, they move seamlessly between genres, yet always sound like themselves. Multi-part harmonies, hyper-distortion and odd time-signatures are just some of many elements of the Pavlova recipe
